Well here it is, the grand opening!
Wheres the fireworks? the chinese dancers? the acrobats? i here you shout
well be prepared for the biggest anti-climax of your life as you begin to read the life and times of a fairly average man!
I s'pose i better introduce myself, im iain hughes, im 18 and i live in Glasgow.
I study Radio and as you guessed, like every person that blogs or infact uses the internet to chat says, i live for music.
I have other hobbies, to name a few: Comedy (stand up), Football (Avid Arsenal supporter) and to be brutally honest, just life.
a wee disclaimer, this blog will be brutally honest in all its posts and if you read this and do not like it well, tough.
today has been a lazy, lazy day. blocked up with a terrible cold and feeling real down. thinking about the year on a whole has got me down. don't get me wrong there has been some incredible high points, but the lows this year have been proper lows and they have all happened on this side of summer. the lowpoint of the year is obviously losing the girlfriend i had and so dearly loved for years for the last time, it felt like the end of an era and a divorce as things were right, proper true love, and to lose that, its a heavy burden and it haunts me every single day, i wont lie. coupled with my grandads illness and a slight mental breakdown, times be hard. but we continue. the endless quest for love continues. life continues.
on a happier note, im off soon to see my friend from colleges' band, really good band! have a few pints with another college pal and then maybe onto a club, kushion most likely. Tomorrow's activites include our sophmore college radio show (Link at the end of blog) and work at night, fun and excruicating in the same day!
till then, goodnight and take care
